I did not know what is a KML Network Link, but it sounds cool, so I looked up the documentation, and implemented a KML Network Link for Panoramio.
How does it work?
You just install Google Earth on your computer, and click on our network link.
Your browser will ask you what do you want to do with this file. You should open it. Google Earth will start up, and then you just have to go somewhere in the planet. When you stop moving, Google Earth will download pictures of this place of the planet from Panoramio.

Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteWhen you click on an image, the picture is only showing partially. See if you can edit the KMZ file to make a larger window for the clicked image. Some kind of link back to the Panoramio site in each image would be nice too.
ReplyDeleteYes, it looks like a bug in the latest Google Earth.
ReplyDeleteIn previous Google Earth versions the balloon had the right size.
Do you know of any way to coerce the balloon to take a particlar size? I have already put the width and height in the img tag, but it's not helping.
Maybe enclosing the whole image in a div with the right width & height may help...
I will add the link back to the Panoramio image this evening, good idea.
Cheers,
Hi,
ReplyDeletethe div trick did it, but I also changed a little bit the img tag, so it may be just that.
I also added a link back to Panoramio in each image.
Cheers,
