Friends of Panoramio meeting in the real world

I just discovered this photo of a group of people from Panoramio, Gruppo Amatori di Panoramio, meeting in Montecanino, Italy.

Gruppo Amatori di Panoramio

Later I discovered that they already have met several times in Camogli , Asti and Monte D'Alba. They are: Marco Ferrari, Francesco Favalesi, Franco Truschello, Daniela Brocca, Valerio M, Alberto Gemme, Gilberto Silvestri, Luigi Barbadoro, esseil (Silvana) and Giulio Colla. Take a look at their photos, these amici make great shots.

I am very happy to see that people make friends through Panoramio. After thinking about it a little bit, I realized that it makes sense. Usually you upload photos of your place in Panoramio and people that post photos near yours probably live nearby. I thought that maybe a forum for meetings in the real world could be a great idea, so here it is "Rendezvous in the real world".

  2. Thanks Eduardo for your post!

The meeting of the "GAP" is a very good experience and fun and the people I met are very interesting!

And it's a growth in topic photography for the exchange of experiences in this world, then a stimulus to improve

    Greetings from Italy

  3. Thank You for me too Eduardo for your kind post!
The Italian G.A.P. experience drammatically improved my poor skill to SEE deeply the environment that surrounds us.
After these meetings, as for a magic touch, I've changed the style to take a photo.
All the others G.A.P.-friends teach me so much more I could imagine, from a simple meeting.
A great thanks had to Giulio Colla, the first author of the GAP meeting experience, many other thanks to ALL the other members of this Group for sharing places, emotions and times together.
Finally, I would thank Eduardo Manchón for his effort in the work to improve day by day Panoramio site.

    Saluti dall' Italia.

    Luigi
