  2. The winning photos of this month's contest are very good! Congratulations to the winners!

It would be very useful for all of us who care to know how many votes they got, whether there were equalities and how many from the community were interested to vote with the new system compared to the previous months' contests! I believe there is no reason not to share this kind of information with the rest of the community.
However, if you are not going to inform all of us who show a kind of interest from time to time in the forum, I would like to know if YOU ARE satisfied from the expressed interest, either in the new voting system or in the discussions held in the forum and the participation to the poll re the voting system. I wonder... if you are satisfied of the percentage between the amount of how many are the users and how many of them really care... I care!

    With respect, _Despina_

  3. I am really happy to see how good the outcomes of the new voting system are. As Despina said, it would be interesting to seesome statistics about how the system is behaving and how much of the community was involved in. My respect to the programmers of the new voting system!

  4. Veo que en los comentarios anteriores se alegran del nuevo sistema de votación (por supuesto yo también), pero ¿estas fotos galardonadas fueron votadas con ese nuevo sistema?

    Saludos a todos.

  5. Going back 6 months all I see are excellent photos winning the contest so I fail to see the big difference of the new system apart that it is designed for people glued to their PC.

However, your continuing denial for info about the new voting system and vote count, is puzzling.

Not to get mistaken I hated the old system but the new one created more problems than it solved. And it failed to address the main problem of stupid people sending a photo of their tracktor or goat to the contest!!!

    Best regards, Alex.

  6. I congratulate those who won the competition. Though I participated in the competition continuously for several months but failed to make even honourable mention. I shall be thankful if some of you openly say what made you to vote a photograph and what didn’t make you to vote a photograph. That help me (and I hope many others as well) to compete in professional manner. I am more interested in my photo and name appears on panoramio than the prize. I welcome the new voting system compared to the old one. As a minimum requirement why don’t you insist that the photo at least should have selected for the google earth is entitled for the competition as a minimum requirement. I don’t think this is difficult to implement but it really help us to vote best ones instead annoyed by some photos.
