The app is a lousy piece of garbage that does not work. It fails to upload any GPS/location data, and therefore defeats the purpose. It hasn't been updated in over 3 years, which speaks to someone asleep at the switch, or not caring.

The iPhone platform, and the camera in particular, have improved significantly. It's unfortunate that Panoramio isn't keeping up with the improvements in these technologies. Same goes for the iPad camera.

Is anyone listening?

I thought I already posted a comment, but it seems something went wrong. The suggestions I am receiving on my already posted photos are all wrong. Some just don't make any sense, or we are now suppose to change the location to the object photographed and not from the location the photo was taken. I expect this new feature is not going to help but rather give wrong suggestions with eventually wrong locations.

I don't think there is a need to display ever the page of the best photos, when some user has 0 photos marked as the best. And it happens always whan the user is not my favorite. To see empty page when I'm visiting some gallery for the first time is a little bit ugly.

Imho, last version of the "Panoarmio-Slide-Shower" was not the best, but it was better than now:
1.The big white strip with the word "Panoramio" with settings-, sign-out- and photo-swither buttons in the top of the slideshow page is unnecessary: it takes too much space.
2.Photo-swither buttons was on each side of the slide-show-page in old version. It was more smart and easy-to-use than now, because the user didn't need to aim for these buttons.
3.It was so easy to open the original photo-page in "one-click", but now it's available only in the "Photo Explorer" :(
WHY NOT MAKE THE SLIDESHOW MODE AS IT IS IN GOOGLE+? IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER THEN NOW! Moreover, in such way Panoramio Groups would be transformed in the interesting place for discussions: browsing photos in the slide-shower we could read and leave comments at the same time.
Whatever, Big Thanks to Panoramio Team for the invested labor!

Interesting new feature, far better than the old slide show!

However there is one strange effect, at least on Firefox: Whenever you change to another tab and back, it will show a new picture, even though PLAY is OFF (and PAUSE is checked)!

@Alexandru: There is a selection of tags and groups when you click on "change" while exploring the photos of a user or a tag selection. This does not work when exploring a group!

However tag selection does not work as expected: When you select a tag while looking at one user's photos, it will not show pictures tagged by that selected user, but a - completely random - picture of ANY user who uses that tag. I think this is not what users expect.

@Sleipnirs Master: There are 2 buttons in the menu, one is for full size and the other one is to view the original. If you hover the button with the mouse it will tell you wich one is the button, or you can just try clicking both ;)
